100 Baby Challenge part 5

Welcome back to my 100 Baby challenge

-The recap edition

Now we are going to get back into the challenge :)

I had about 1 week were I sorted out a bunch of ingame problems:

Moved to Midnight Hollow (realized I didn´t feel like playing in a dark world like that)

Moved the family again, this time to TwinBrook? (this is the current town)

Got the glitch that after 8 sims, the game only gave the sim "single births"

The last bug was horrible to sort out. Tbh I don´t know what I did in the end to fix it.
But now It works, which makes it more fun to play again.

For a moment there I was considering giving up.
This is the 3rd restart of me doing the challenge in total.
The last time the 8 sim glitch was the problem too, so I was sick of it :P

I will show Screenshots, and try to tell what has happened.
And then from now on, it will hopefully be easier to update here (I hope I will be able to stop replaying stuff, haha)

I kept the family in Midnight Hollow untill Spencer and Bella became teenagers, and the triplets children.

Then I took the chance to move to Twinbrook.
This way the childrens school performance was not affected !

Theresa - 2 pregnancy´s, 5 children

This was alittle messy.
But now I am soon caught up too where the game works better and I have alittle better organization in my screenshots and more notes about ages and stuff...

Can only get better from here !

100 Baby Challenge part 4

Welcome back to my 100 Baby Challange -

What happened?

Been a long time since I updated here.
I got a couple of glitches in the game, which took a while to figure out.
And then I was away for a few days visiting family :)

Since I have played on and off, and even replayed some part multiple times, I was starting to give up on blogging about this, but think we can catch up ;P

In this part it will just be alot of text, alittle back story. In the next part I will continue with updates from the challenge :)



The following story is something I came up with when I discovered that the tripplets was infact werewolfs and not vampires as I thought.
I haven´t played the supernatural werewolfs, so I "cheated" and made them human...

Another problem I discovered when I had som many toddlers, was that the custom made world didn´t display the "sim green/yellow/red diamond" over the sims.

This was the first time I noticed this ! But when it became to chaotic, I realized I needed to be able to click on a sim, see who it was, and then take care of it.

I tried to place my household in a new save file of the world, same problem.
Tried to place the household in a EA world, no problem.
So even though I really did like Devils port, I decided to move.
I did that by saving the household with the house to the bin, and just started a new world.

The story of Theresa´s faith:

After the birth of the tripplets Theresa went for the checkup "the program" has.

When she was there it all started to get alittle blurry. Turns out they gave her something to make her sleepy instead of the vitamins.

Before she fell alseep, she remembers she heard something about the tripplets not being well.
Pantic started in her head.
She has a slight memory that she might have gotten a question to heal her children or be forced to leave the program and take care of her children alone.

Theresa was not sure what this meant at the time.
As a mother she ofcourse said she wanted them to do everything to help her children.

When she came too/woke up again, she was in the same house, but it didn´t look the same outside...
Everywhere she looked it was dark, there were no sun.

She found a letter with information from the doctor.

The letter said that the tripplets had been carriers/infected with a virus. This is the virus the program is trying to eliminate, the reason they are repopulating the world.

The program was satisfied with her fertility so they had decided to give her a second chance.

What did this mean?
Theresa was clueless but started to get flashbacks.

When she turned 18, she moved to get ready to start college. It was far away from her family, but that was a natural step.

When she got there, she was informed that there were no college to begin with (for her).
The program had seen she was the right blood type. So her purpose in life was now to be a part of cure-ing the world (which she never knew had a problem)

It was first now that she realized that she would probably never see her family again.
What had happened to them ?
Were they in a different part of a program ?

The screams of children snapped her out of her thoughts ....

What would happend now?
Where were she and the kids?
Was her children out of danger now?
Theresa knew she would not get a answere now, it pained her slightly....

100 Baby Challange part 3

Welcome back to my 100 Baby Challange -

The toddler invation

This is where hell kinda broke loose *lol*

Theresa had just given birth to the tripplets. (5 children in total)

I had made the poor sim (kinda litterally) so broke, that I didn´t have many options money-wise to try to cope with this situation :/

The options I had was:
-Extend walls of the house, get some more space
-Buy more cribs, I obviously needed 5
-Super skill the 2 toddlers in hopes to age them up

I didn´t have any simoleons so I was left with the later option.

Was kind of optimistic that I would be able to teach all the skills, age up the 2 toddlers to children, get them to use the bunk beds and we would be fine

.... That failed

But let´s take a look at the attempt, ha

I was unable to speed skill the toddlers.... 

The only thing I could afford was 2 baby swings

Spencer was out like a light even before the swing was turned on, haha

After that traumatic and exhausting night/morning.
I realized I had nochoice, I had to age up the Babies.  I was unable to juggle all those things!

Now I was left with even less space, even more poor (I didn´t want the repo man), and alittle bit more frusterated, haha

I took Screenshots of the toddlers, but I might mess up their names bellow (will have to look in game later), atleast their traits are correct!

The tripplets came with a unexpected "suprise" if you may. 
Theresa was contacted by "the program", and was not sure what was going on or what was going to happend to her...

And that´s where I think I will leave this for today.

The 100 Baby Challange Part 2

Welcome back to my 100 Baby Challange 

- The Screenshot edition !

Alot has happened since we last "spoke" .
Have played so part 3 is ready, it just need to be told
(I had some catching up to do, am I right or am I right? haha)

But let´s stay in the now and catch up with Theresa.

In part 1 she gave birth to Spencer and  Bella.

Theresa got pregnant, and then in a hurry she was "whisked away" (if thats a word) to the next step/part of the program .
The program with the goal to repopulate the world again after the virus spread.

She was given her 13 000 + 50 Simoleons grant and was moved to the lot she was going to build a house on.

She also got enough LFR to buy "fertility treatment" before the 2nd pregnancy.

I recently did a factory reset to clear out my CC,

Now I saw how little toddler hairstyles that came with the game, so will add in more as we go.

Mama was settling in quite nice, and there was hope to teach the twins what they needed to be able to age up before the next birth, or atleast to be close to it.

They are so calm when they sleep *lol*

Reality is starting to set in, the mess begins ...

Catching up on some sleep, using the playpen as a much needed break...

 Just for cuteness, a reminder might be good later on *lol*

In her sleep-deprived state Theresa went into Labour (gasp)
It happened sooner than I was expecting.
I was not done with the twins, so I could not age them up, the horror !

Theresa gave birth to 3 healthy tripplet girls (I cried inside)

By the sound of the names you can see that I was tired *lol*

I was only expecting twins at the most.
Theresa was broke, and there was only so much the 75 simoleons grant could do :P

Sold some decor items I think and bought 1 more crib.
Placed it in the room with the bunk bed.
The thinking was to get the twins ready to age up , and then I would have enough beds.
Untill then the twins spent the night in the playpen !

Here is where the madness begins, and I will leave it as a cliffhanger, promising chaos , ha !

Reflection:

The new alittle stricter rules on earning money, using store items for comfort is making the challange much harder than usual, which I enjoy, allthough it´s doing my head in !

My sim is totally broke, I have never been this broke in a sim life !

In my other challange I have for example used that "zen massage table" (?) .
Both to keep the energy high, not needing as much sleep, and it has ironically made me some simoleons too:P

And by now I usually have the first "fixer upper car" ready or atleast almost ready to be sold.

Sure, the money don´t take away from the challange of teaching all the skills.
But it suuuure helps to be able to make larger room, kitchen stove, fridge, toys for the toddlers etc:P

The only thing I have invested in so far is the "multi tab".
So I have Theresa listen to usefull skills. Since at the moment her painting skill is kind of useless, there is no time to paint !

Going to be deeply dependant on this bunch being able to help out with the money situation in the future.

Theresa is in for some dramatic stuff in the next part, stay tuned to see what it might be ;)

100 Baby Challange, a preview of my first melt down

100 Baby Challange part 1

Welcome to my "Screenshot" 100 baby challange :)

I was inspired by the story that xSimSugarx/Laura & Sims3Simbiote/April tells on YouTube.

So I decided to take Laura up on the "invitation/suggestion" to do the challangeas a little side project and share screenshots.

For me it feels/looks like the challange is much more fun when you share it with someone.
When I have tried on my own a few times (gotten to 50 or so), I usually end up borred.
But it probably will be a different thing when alittle bit of story is injected to the gameplay :)

I don´t have as good imagination as them, and I really like their set up with the test subjects, and the town they play in.
So I will pretty much play by the same rules (I am the pro copy cat lol)

Started out homeless with 1000 simoleons

I was not able to find a gym last night, so Theresa had to try to meet men/test persons on other public lots, and that was a challange.
She did manage to meet a few that I will let her keep contact with from the phone and lap top. Since she is almost on house arrest now untill she has a teenager that can help out to take care of the younger siblings, ha

Won´t be writing this much in all "parts" so to speak. Will have many screenshots and let them do the talking, and then just insert usefull information, or stories about fun/chaotic things that might have happened :)

Don´t think Theresa can imagine how dangerous that wish for a large family was , ha

Had tried to invite ppl over before but they never turned up

 Oh noes, I had to buy another crib, no money left !

Before the move, the "broody" male named Jacob donated to the cause and I heard the baby jingle :P

Turns out Jacob is a vampire, which is a supernatural type that is new to me, so this could get interessting !
