Warlords Beta - Some concerns

This Gnome is starting to have some concerns ....

From what I have seen (lvl 90-92) it looks like we are in for a great expansion.
It almost gives back the "TBC" feel, which is great !

However there are some things in the Beta and Blizzards recent move´s that makes me worried.

Mid of this week "inv wave 2" went out, it was a large one.

My conserns are NOT that the Beta is buggy and almost unplayable.
I would be suprised if it was not, I am more concerned it won´t get the testing it needs.

Factors of my concern:

* Time
It´s impossible not to feel Blizzards stress to push this out.

We have been playing "MoP" for a while now.
I would not think there was anything strange, need to worry, stress, if it was not for the fact that the last raid has been out for over a year (?) with no new content.

* Unlocked content to fast

I hope they have some SUPER good builds they have completed with internal testing and/or with the alpha testing.

Becuase the decition to raise the level cap from 92-96 , that was a large step.

Mobs never stop to spawn, they spawn before the others are dead.

The quests are not linked together, so you move from one quest giver to another.
It is very unsmooth.

It is exactly the way I want it this ealy in the testing!
But I am starting to think that this is not "early testing"
This is push, push to the finish line.

* Addons and raid testing

The fact that they opened up for the use of Addons, is what set of my first alarm.

This is usually done at the very end of the testing.
Due to a simple fact that now players will focus more on their add ons and the bugs in them, than filtering out what is the games fault.

And now when I see the raid testing is starting aswell.
I am beginning to think, this is staring to look like a wrap...

Unless this is because they want to put focus on the Mystic testing later , which I hope.

* Blizzcon

I love my Blizzcon, and this year is no exeption !

Blizzcon is early November.
Blizzard has said somewhere over the years, that they never release new raid content during Blizzcon.

Both because everyone that works at Blizzard is working at Blizzcon.
And that they know there is always a race with the end raid content, and they don´t want players to not attend Blizzcon to raid.

I am hoping that Blizzcon might be the place where we get a release date (I think we will before tho)

And I hope that the cinematics are premiered at Blizzcon!

Which would set us at a game release at the end of November at the earliest.
Hopefully mid December.

If it was not for the fact that the last raid has been the only (raid) content for so long. I would be hoping for a January-February release.

* Garrisons

If we complain... For example "Cross realm" which I see as the spawn of all evil.
The reply we get is:
This is a MMO, a multiplayer game. It is not a single player game, deal with it.

Garrisons are very broken at the moment. And I have not done alot of research, so I am not quoting facts.

But for me the Garrison seem to get more and more foccus.
Becoming a "sales point" for WOD.

Sure, it has super pretty buildings, will show in another post. Smart functions.
But it is staring to feel less and less otional.

So I don´t see the point in killing the "world economy by crafting/professions"
(that is a end result if everyone can do everything),

Sitting ALONE in my Garrison watching NPC´s walk around....
I don´t see the MMO in that....

* The Final product - Quality or Stress

Will we see a "Warlords of Draenor" that is released when all the testing is done?

Or will the game be pushed out before Blizzcon ?

I LOVE what I have seen so far!
Please take your time, and give us the WOD we deserve.

The WOD that will leave the game community stunned/gasping for air, admitting that Blizzard still "has it", and that this is the expansion to beat ;)
