The sky is not falling

Last night I saw the news (together with maaaany) that WoW has lost 1.1 million subs the last months.

Was I suprised it was a drop?
-No

Was I suprised in how many?
-Yes

Do I think WoW is dying?
-No

I mean sure, the news was dark.
But, in fairness Blizzard can´t be all that suprised?

I hope the lesson is learned, and we will move on with the Pandas September 25th! :D

We haven´t had a new patch/raid for like 8months+ or something?
So sure, I think ALOT of players have taken longer breaks than usual, I am sure they will return...

And when you think about it... This huge lost in subs for WoW, is more players than other games has in total... So hold your Doomsday comments alittle more!

Myself I am borred of Dragon Soul.
The only reason I have been active the entire time, is becuase I have a guild I love, so we have fun on raid nights :)
But other than that, there is not much more for me to do in the game than earn gold... If I dont want to level even moooore toons....

Speaking of, has started to level my Priest again, it is soon level 74:)

I have missed the Buzz of reading on forums about the guilds that compete in the race to get World first kills.
Lately, it has been like the big guilds has gone into hiding... This says something about how long DS has been out. There has been so little do do in the game, that players has dissapeared...

My guess is that WoW will be up to atleast 10 mill subs with Mop, and it will probably be more and more. Players just need to know there is a "game inside the game" again... Not just a social place :)
